Meet Dr. Corey Mazer
In his practice serving Alpharetta, North Fulton, and the Atlanta, Georgia area as a cosmetic dentist, Dr. Corey Mazer is helping to establish a new tradition of dental comfort and care. He is a 1999 graduate of the Medical College of Virginia. In his continuing education, Dr. Mazer has completed courses in Cosmetic Dentistry, Endodontics, Implant Restorations, and Oral Surgery. He has also attended courses at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute.
Dr. Mazer is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Hinman Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Academy of Computerized Dentistry
Meet Dr. Katie Reid
Dr. Katie Reid, graduated in 2006 with honors as one of the top clinical students at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. She completed a general practice residency at the University of Alabama, Birmingham Medical Center; a hospital residency program specializing in complex, comprehensive treatments including implants, oral surgery, endodontics, and advanced cosmetic procedures.
Dr. Reid is an active member of the Hinman Dental Society, The Georgia Dental Association and The Academy of General Dentistry. She also volunteers her time with the Ben Massell Dental Clinic and various other charitable dental foundations.
Meet Dr. Jay V. Patel
Dr. Patel was born in London, England and was raised there until the age of 12 when his family moved to Duluth, Georgia, where they now reside. Dr. Patel attended Chattahoochee High School, and then received his Bachelors degree from Georgia Institute of Technology. He attended Temple University School of Dentistry and then joined a private practice upon graduation.
Dr. Patel is excited to have joined the Old Milton Dental team. He loves getting to know and providing the best possible care to his patients.
In his time away from the office Dr. Patel enjoys playing soccer and tennis. He loves traveling and trying new dining experiences. He enjoys spending time with his friends and family especially his nieces and nephews.
Front Office Team
Cathy Williamson is the Office Manager at our practice. She has been involved in the dental field for over 20 years. She enjoys establishing long-term relationships with patients and watching the immediate changes as well as the life long results of quality dentistry. The constant changes and improvements in dentistry and dental technology keep her excited about the field.
Cathy teaches group fitness classes in the Alpharetta community. She and her husband enjoy the outdoors, good friends, and vacationing at the beach. They have 2 children, a daughter and a son, both of whom live in the south.
Ann Sorensen originally from Long Island, New York comes to us from Boca Raton, Florida, where she spent many years as a dental office administrator. Ann enjoys explaining to patients how to maximize their dental insurance benefits and coordinate treatment so that our patients can achieve optimal dental health.
As a busy Mom of three active teens, Ann spends most weekends running from one sporting event to the next. Coming to work at Old Milton Dental is her downtime.
Christi Reynolds was born and raised in Georgia. She has been working in the dental field for over 9 years. Christi loves dental assisting, and she enjoys all aspects of dentistry and the changes made through cosmetic dentistry.
She enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with friends and family. She has a dog named Oscar.
Rachel Summers Born in Maryland and raised in Dacula, Georgia. Rachel has been working in dentistry for more than 7 years. She enjoys getting to know our patients, helping them with their needs in our office and helping to make sure they leave excited and happy about their visit.
Rachel enjoys playing softball with her daughter, as well as running, gardening, swimming and cooking. Rachel also has a degree in massage therapy.
Dental Assisting Team
Oksana Yusupov was born in Uzbekistan and moved to the United States at age 11. She loves meeting people and educating them about good oral health. In Uzbekistan oral hygiene was very poor, so she is excited about making a difference. Most of all Oksana loves working at Old Milton Dental with Dr. Mazer.
Oksana enjoys being a wife and a mother to two precious children. She also enjoys spending time exercising and getting together with friends.
Wendy Demaline was born and raised in beautiful farm country in the NW corner of Ohio. She has been in dentistry since 1987 and enjoys showing people the gentle and caring side of dentistry, while also helping them to maintain a healthy, beautiful smile. Wendy likes meeting and making new friends every day.
Her hobbies are camping, fishing, and hiking in the mountains and also antique shopping with her husband. She is married and has 2 beautiful children and a wonderful daughter-in-law and son-in-law. They have been blessed with a grandson and hope for many more.
Catherine Cortes was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico. After moving to Roswell when she was 12, she now lives in Woodstock, Georgia. She has been a dental assistant for over 9 years and enjoys assisting. Catherine finds it most rewarding to see a patient’s mouth restored to optimal health.
Catherine and her husband are raising a young daughter. They enjoy traveling and spending time with their family and friends.
DeWeise Wright was born and raised in Chicago, Il. She has been in dentistry for over 17 years and loves it. She enjoys educating patients on the importance of good dental health. DeWeise gets the most satisfaction from seeing a happy and healthy patient.
She has 2 beautiful children, a daughter and a son. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling, cooking and music.
Dental Hygienists
Marie MacFadden, RDH, is an important member of our hygiene team. She has been in dentistry for over 12 years. Marie enjoys treating adults and children of all ages. She likes meeting patients and helping them achieve beautiful, healthy smiles that last a lifetime. She enjoys establishing long term professional relationships with patients.
She and her husband are raising 4 children, 3 daughters and 1 son. Marie enjoys the company of family and friends. She also enjoys traveling, gardening, sporting events and outdoor activities.
Leslie Mitchell was born in Georgia and returned several years ago after living in South Carolina, Tennessee and Arizona.
Leslie was with her last dental office for the 6 years she lived in Phoenix. She has been a dental hygienist for 11 years. She particularly enjoys customizing a hygiene program that fits each patient's specific needs and concerns.
Leslie enjoys scrapbooking, travel and spending time with family and friends. She is married. Leslie and her husband are raising 2 sons.
Rena' Mecke, RDH, is a native Georgian. She has worked in the dental field since 1985, first as an assistant, she then realized she wanted to further her skills and become a hygienist. She loves helping patients feel relaxed and comfortable during their dental visits. Her goal is to educate patients on the importance of good health.
Rena’ loves playing tennis, spending time with her family and watching any sporting event. (Go Dawgs!) She and her husband are raising a teenage son.
Jessica Palmer, RDH, was born and raised in Valdosta, Ga. She has over 7 years experience, 1 as an assistant and the rest as a hygienist.
She enjoys educating patients about their oral health and encouraging them to value their smile.
Her interests include fine wines and foods. She also enjoys traveling, cooking, spending time with friends, reading and scary movies.
She has 2 yorkshire terriers, Samson and Delilah.
Darlene Kralik is our newest addition to the Dental Hygiene department. She is originally from Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Ga. in 1984. She has over 20 years of dental experience. Darlene loves her profession and providing quality care to patients as well as establishing long term relationships with them. She especially likes to help patients overcome any apprehension associated with dental visits.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her two boys, playing tennis, working out, reading and volunteering for church service projects.
Gina Yelton RDH has recently joined our hygiene team. She grew up in Naples, Fl. and moved to the Atlanta area in 1986..
She has been a dental hygienist since 1991 and enjoys helping patients to make positive changes towards better health and staying healthy.
When not at Old Milton Dental, Gina loves tennis, reading and spending time with friends and family. She and her husband are raising a son and all three enjoy their boxer, Maggie.
